Visual artist and film and TV professional based in Rio de Janeiro, he began his studies in photography as a child in workshops at Instituto Cultural Pólen with professionals from different parts of the world, including French landscape photographer Laurent Reiz, Japanese photojournalist Yasuyoshi Chiba and British fashion photographer Michael Verity. Later, he studied animation through the course Educação do Olhar (Educating the Gaze, 2002), taught by the filmmakers Ana Rita Nemer and Sérgio Arena, technicians at CTAv (Technical Audiovisual Center). He directed his first short film at the age of 17, receiving an honorable mention at the ESFF - European Student Film Festival 2009 in Switzerland. In 2013 he studied film direction at the Instituto Brasileiro do Audiovisual-Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro (Darcy Ribeiro Film School), with names like Ruy Guerra, Ivair Coelho, Rorigo Fonseca and Clélia Bessa. Since then he works in the film industry in parallel with photographic projects.In 2017, at the invitation of the Instituto Cultural Pólen, he conceived the social project CriaAtivo Film School, an initiative carried out in partnership with the City of Rio de Janeiro and the British social development institution Creative Wick, with resources from the Newton Fund, an investment fund of the British Council. , aimed at democratising access to cinematographic language for young people in a situation of social disrepute, the initiative is currently called Nave Lab CriaAtivo. He is a member of the photography groups Favelagrafia (with awards in Cannes), Photomeetings Brazil and founder of the creative studio Laboratório Lunar Estúdio Criativo (Lab. Lunar).
